The objective of our business is to provide high quality, healthy, LONGHORN CATTLE, as well as in continuing an important part of TEXAS history.  We are breeding our longhorns to better ensure longer horns, color and good disposition.   We hope you will enjoy visiting our web site and we look forward to hearing from you soon!!

The Yar-Bar-O Ranch name was derived from Mike's last name, Yarborough.  Clever, huh?  It won't be confused with any other either!  The ranch is in South Texas.  There IS beauty beyond the mesquite and cactus, too!  Employees play an important role in any business.  We are lucky to have a full-time ranch hand named Nick.  He is outstanding and very conscience of all that goes on.  He is as excited with every new calf and it's color and personality as we are.  There is a personal interest besides the business interest!  Mike and I try to bring passion and life to you through our business and this web site. 

Mike Yarborough and Linda King have gotten into the "Longhorn" cattle business in a big way.  In these last few years we have acquired more than 650 acres and 50 Longhorns.  

 

We give these longhorns all the room they need and want and let them do exactly what they like best and that is... eat well, graze all day and make more longhorns!  We have been pleased with the results!

 

 

We have been interested in getting a website so we would be on the world-wide web and are delighted that we are finally here. Taking our business to the web makes the process even more exciting!
